Jade & Pearl Jewellery Care Guide
HIMO's jewellery designs use natural jade, pearls, and carefully selected materials to preserve the original beauty of each material. Due to their natural character, every piece of jade and every pearl may carry small differences in colour, shape, or surface. To keep your piece in its best condition, HIMO recommends:
1. Avoid contact with chemicals
Do not let jewellery come into direct contact with perfume, cosmetics, hairspray, alcohol, or cleaning agents.
Put jewellery on after finishing your personal care routine.
2. Limit contact with water
Remove jewellery before showering, swimming, or exercising.
Seawater, pool water, and water-treatment chemicals can affect the natural lustre of jade and pearls.
3. Avoid strong impact
Jade and pearls are natural materials, each with its own hardness and structure.
Avoid dropping jewellery or knocking it against hard surfaces, to prevent cracking, chipping, or scratching.
4. Clean it properly
After wearing, gently wipe with a soft, clean, dry cloth to remove any dust or residual sweat.
Do not use stiff brushes or harsh cleaning solutions.
5. Storage
Store each piece separately to avoid friction against other materials.
Keep it in the box or pouch provided with the product.
Avoid environments with high heat, high humidity, or prolonged direct sunlight.
6. Natural material characteristics
Natural jade and pearls may show veining, spotting, or small differences in colour and shape.
These are natural characteristics of the material and are not considered product defects.
Over time, the surface may change slightly due to environmental exposure and wear habits.
Important note
HIMO's warranty does not cover scratches, cracks, oxidation, loss of lustre, or colour change resulting from impact, chemicals, environmental exposure, or normal use. Natural changes in the material are part of the piece's individual character.
